1961 film starring Warren Beatty, Natalie Wood, Pat Hingle, Sandy Dennis, Phyllis Diller, Gary Lockwood, among others. Oh yes, the orchids...magnificent shot of the vivid blooms contrasted against the aforementioned grass. I love those multitextured tongues.

Whoa! I'm awake now!!! :) Gorgeous image.
I just love orchids & this one actually glows
Wow, my room is illuminated just by these colors lol... very nice! :)
you get really good comments (a tribute!) I esp. like susank's "summer is here," and tara's "I'm awake now!" (Summer's here? The wind chills here are minus 40! Uh, you wanna trade places, Susanne???) Vivid capture of orchids in all their twists & turns & wonderful festival hues; and nice that they're stretching out over the lawn, like they're grabbing your attention. (Well, as one flower-lover I know says, "orchids are the showoffs of flowers!") Lot of bursts & vitality in your gallery this winter: You're picking up our spirits in the midwest. Like karlabu says, "my room is illuminated by these..."
sure is awesome colors warm hug, Linda
Beautiful...especially against the background.
