Description
Ever feel like most hair painting tutorials skip a step somewhere between "choose a large brush" and "now it's beginning to look like hair"? :)
I read one hair tutorial too many and just got the urge to make this. No offense intended to any of the fine artists who share their techniques and paint hair so well, but "just add highlights and shadows" is often easier said than done.
Thanks for viewing, comments always welcome. Hope this tutorial helped! ;)

LOL, thanks for the laugh, that was great.
LMAO LOL I thought it was serious at first, but then I read the text LOL.. CLASSIC!!
This is GREAT. I really needed this laugh. And yes, it does seem like most hair painting tutorials skip from a big solid mass of color to perfect strands in one step. After you're done painting your hair base, you scroll down and see "now add a few stray hairs flying away from the face and you're done." LOL Greatness.
ROTFLMBO. Thx for the laugh!
very funny! and a great tutorial! LOL
Best tutorial I've seen yet! Now can you please make one for clothing? Very funny!

Man this is hilarious! "The smudge tool is the next best thing to the lensflare in phososhop." Too funny! And hits a little too close to home!
OMG this is so funny! As a newbie to poser work I am thankful to learn not all hair is renderd in poser and now can stop making my poor tricycle of a puter stop trying to render at a billion pixels!!!! Please keep up these pieces THEY ARE GREAT!!!!!
Holy COW! That has to be the funniest thing I've seen here yet! Thank you, it is a much needed breath of fresh air for a newbie like me - who feels totally inept even when reading tuts intented to help. It really helped me put my frustrations into perspective! :)

HAHAHAHA !!!!!! This hits too close to home! I try to read the hair tutorials out there and yes, I do sometimes feel this way - actually, ALOT!
Personally, I think this needs to be reposted for everyone to enjoy again. Though I've never written a tutorial you seem to have found out that I had a lot of layers! :) Glad I found this.
