Description
He was a country boy who had fallen in love with a city girl. He had left the quite of the country to earn a living in the big city. Life was lonely for him until he met the fiery red head.. She had brightened his days and his nights. She showed him how to enjoy the city, but he longed to show her the life he had come from. The life where people enjoyed things on a much slower pace. She was reluctant to go at first, but she too had fallen for this man who looked past all the superficial things and saw the women inside and still wanted her.
With her bags packed he picked her for the long drive to his cabin, they stopped at the little corner grocery and picked up the items they would need for the weekend. Once everything was unpacked and their first meal eaten, they walked out and sat under the big Oak tree as the evening started to fade. “This is so peaceful,” she murmured as she snuggled into his arms. He pressed his lips to her temple happier than he had ever been.
