Description
I have been quiet and have lots of ebots waiting, but all I can think of now is that my Simon is missing since early yesterday morning.
It has never happened during over 8 years that he is away so long time.....and it is -5C outside.
I am praying he is safe of course, but cannot but see the opposite scenario.
Will again go out and search as fast as it is a little light outside.
Please, hope with me!!

I just got home and saw this...It's like missing a sibling, gun, like missing a part of yourself. I hope Simon comes home, and I'm sorry this happened at all, not to mention on Christmas. My wishes are with you. Cats have strong independence and sometimes they'll stray, but I hope he returns to you. Many wishes for his safe return to your home this holiday week, love, m
What a gorgeous cat. Such pretty markings. I'm so sorry. I know how scary that is. I once lost my kitty that way and she was declawed (before her previous owner abandoned her). She did return to my home the next day. But it was a long day and night waiting for her. What I did was I put on a light on the porch with her food outside and a piece of my clothing, so, she could smell my scent, I also made a place for her to find shelter near the back door. She was drawn to it, and eventually wanted back in. I also spread the word with all my neighbors, and was in the middle of creating a missing poster for her when she came home. I will think many good thoughts for Simon, and also for you. Best wishes to you both and let us know what happens.
Oh, Gun! I will worry about this all night. I can't help but think he's ok...maybe not so comfortable but come the daylight, perhaps you'll find him just outside the door waiting to be let in. Please let me know when you find him so I don't have to worry for you both for too long.
Dear Gun. My heart bleeds for you since I know what you are feeling. The worry and concern.I have gone through this several times and not with a good outcome sadly. I will hold both you and Simon in my prayers for the very best re-union. Please keep us posted. What a terrible worry to have during this season which amplifies everything. Hugs, Tutte
Gun, you and Simon are in my prayers and I am holding positive thoughts for his return. I know what you are feeling now, but also know, as you can see from above, that so many people hold you both close and wish so for your reunion. Perhaps the energy of all these positive thoughts will be like a beacon to Simon. Hugs and love, sis.
I'M PRAYING FOR YOUR BEAUTIFUL KITTY. HOPE HE IS HOME SAFE SOON.
strength, gun, i hope for simon's safe return.
Come home, Simon. There is someone who loves you very much waiting. CC
I am so sorry you have to miss your little Simon, but is do so hope he will be back very soon. Take a look around in the neighbourhood and listen if he is locked into a Shack. He will yell to get out, if it is where he is now. He could also lay sleeping in a nice warm home of the neighbours. That Ill hope, because then he will be home very soon. All my best wishes, Dear Gun.

i certainly hope he's all right.
Dear {{{Gun}}}, my heart is broken for you and Dear Simon, I am feeling your pain and heartache so clearly. But I know that Simon will let you know he is still near you, and you will feel, and hear, and sense his presence, as I do Gracie Anne's. I am glad that you found him, and that you are able to say goodby to him. It is hard to write this through my tears .. just know how sad I am for you and for Simon, and that I know your pain.
Dear Gun, I am sorry to hear this, how sad this is and it really breaks my heart because I know how you must feel to find you cat like this way. I am crying during I type my words......On the other hand I am glad as well that you find him, imagine you didn't know where he could be and you would never ever see him without knowing where he could be. It is a hard thing to find it out this hard way. My sympathy goes out to your tender heart because I know how much you will miss Simon. An animal can give so much peace inside, so you need time to grief, take your time for it dear Gun, I will send you a lot of strength..I feel sad for the lost
Gun, will say a prayer for your kitty. Several years ago, we rescued a beautiful white cat with amber eyes, a pink nose, and no front claws! She came to us the eve of a big ice storm and we took her in. Gave her the name of Olivia. She was a sweet cat, had obviously been a housecat due to the declawing. She lived with us for about two years. Our house has a big backyard with woods behind it. Olivia liked to go into the woods and hunt and play. She got to where she spent more and more time in the woods and less and less at home ... until one day she never came back! I was sick with worry of course, I went looking and calling ... to no avail. I could think of so many horrible things that might have happened. I finally had to just pray about her and leave her situation with the Lord, trusting in Him to watch over her and keep her safe if she was alive ... over a year later I was driving home and saw Olivia jumping into a dumpster ... I parked on the side of the road and got out and approched the can slowly. She saw me and ran off into the adjacent woods but stopped about ten feet in. She allowed me to approach within ten feet of her. I could tell she was happy, her coat looked good and she seemed healthy. Despite having no front claws, she was managing quite well and I guess she just went wild. I was happy that God had given me closure though, to let me know what happened. I hope and pray you shall know as well. He is a beauty :)
I do hope you find him safe and well. Check to see if one of your neighbours has gone away on holiday and locked him in their house. This happened to our cat once and we thought we had lost him for 4 days and the neighbour got such a shock to see him inside as she had never seen him in before.
I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your beautiful cat. Simon. He will live on in your heart, and in this beautiful image here, forever.
I will keep positive thoughts for you. I know how it is to have a friend missing. Take care and think positive.
