This was my contribution in the Holiday Contest
here at RR two years back, if I remember right.
The image was hardly notified
people wanted Santas instead.
I think the first three prizes were Santas in some form.
BUT my dear friends, since my inspiration is low this year
I post this as my Christmas Greeting for you.
The message is forever valid
at least for me.

You have painted a very true image, and spoken very true words. Santas are fine and warm and happy, but what good are Santas if the world is at odds with itself? What good are they if we are busy destroying ourselves as we destroy our world? No, we have to start, each one of us, by allowing "our God" to shine through our eyes, and fill the world with light in that way, one person at a time, until the whole world shines. May the Christmas Spirit fill each day of the new year.
