Description
About a 20 minute or less drive from this place, we had a beach lot at a place called Puako. My parents bought the beach lot for about $3 thousand. We sold it for $6 thousand. Much time has passed since then. Now....they are worth about $1.5 million plus.... We had all hind sight in those days. As for this hut, I'm glad they are preserving it as a historical place. Aloha and thank you for viewing.

I'm enjoying seeing these bits of Hawai'ian culture. Wonderful capture!
Very nice. Too bad I never bought up our neighborhood here. That's life. Great shot. Aloha
Beautiful place and wonderful photo.
I know Puako; actually went there when I visited the Big Island; how wonderful this has been preserved!!
A so wonderful capture!
Lots of objects and textures in this stellar shot of the little grass shack in Hawaii.
Neat capture. Good to see history of the culture being preserved. Know what you mean concerning property values...if only you could have held onto that lot we could all come over and enjoy it :) Bill
Excellent shot - photographically and historically.
Cool shot Errol, too bad you didn't keep the lot eh??? you'd be rich right now... Aloha...
