Description
Source for this image is a digital photo I took at a recent car show in September 2008. I removed the background clutter from the image but left the grass ground...
I merged in a sky image and ran the image through Topaz-Adjust plugin, then applied a texture and frame in PSPP X2...

Ken, I know next to nothing about 2D but this rendering of an old favorite of mine looks mighty good. I had a '50 Ford convertible, nosed and decked and with a 49 Merc grill just like this. I thought it was cool...and for $250 in 1957...it wasn't expensive. Nice work. Bill
You are winning me over a bit. The rounded hood corners and Frenched grille openning with the urethane look to the bumper complement the bullnose and Frenched headlights. Old syle rear views on this one. Candy apple, pearl, metalflake they came and went.
Cool postwork Ken!
Talk about 'electric blue'...WOW ! This Mercury looks fantastic and I really dig those curved panels, a real classic enhanced with your postwork technique ! ~Cheers~

beautiful post work. years ago when I had cars that actually had a steel bumper and I would see them painted in magazines, I never thought about doing it. but now it looks outstanding to me
