So here we sit as Christmas approaches wearing smoking jackets and slippers, Nat King Kole drools softly from a gramaphone, after a time, with the air holding the mood of an educated smugness eventually I pipe up and offer my thought for the day.... "Fuck me, its cold out int-it Eric eh?"

<- Hands Eric a mug o cocoa and an Oreo. But now even Oreos are part of the rhetoric, which is truly sad. I'm sad that hope and change are now the subject of cynicism, and the meaning of patriotism has warped. Too bad if you wanted heat, it's going to be very expensive, so try to do without, maybe on alternate days. Sorry, I'm not much help this Sunday morning, but I did bring chocolate. Hehe.

Do you have the "fireplace channel " too? during holidays our cable access channel has ONE channel with nothing but a burnin log...and an occasional stoker (not Bram) this looks much more economical and green...here's to losing only 11% in the stock market ! Happy Canadian Thanksgiving !

Dig out the digital marshmellows and long sticks. You'll have to update the animation in December with some decorations and stockings. Very cool fire that warms my heart =)

Very well done. I served as a Fire Fighter in Joburg Metro I really know what it looks like. Just a touch on the embers, they actually glow and shadow around as well.
Hope is eternal encouragement?, radiant reliance, warm optimistic expectations, perhaps a yen? we crave and yearn for the warmth of the hearth you have set here so well.

Takes a seat and hands ERic a hot chocolate with a little something to help warm the insides as we warm our outsides by his beautiful fire. There is always hope, if not all is lost and just can't bring myself to believe that yet. Although it has come close hasn't it?
