Description
My 11 year old "baby" had sugery for the removal of a terribly infected uterus and the removal of an ovary that should have been the size of an almond but was the size of a large man's fist!
As I monitor Crystabelle's recovery and wait with baited breath for the lab results to determine whether the tumor is benign or malignant, I dug through old photographs again for this collage.
Thanks for indulging a worried "mother" and for your views and comments.

She'll be ok Tex, they are hardy wee animals, bless her heart, your collection of photos are beautiful :)....if you need a shoulder, you know where I am ok?

I'm sending you good thoughts and Crystabelle healing thoughts. What a beautiful dog she is! And my, what a nasty size that tumor was. Keep us posted on her recovery, please.
I know how you must be feeling...we've been through an unbroken series of four Westies that began in 1971. They become the loves of your family's lives. Get well, Chrystabelle, everybody is pulling for you and your worried mom. Bill
A dog in a house is no less than a family member! We love them so much!!!
I hope she's doing really well! A very interesting set of pics!
Excellent photos, thoughts of healing for your dog.
Maria, you know how to site mail me so please do if you want. I don't feel as if it was a malignant ovary but the uterus was so badly infected it could have done more damage than the ovary. At least that is what I'm thinking. She will have slow recovery but with someone like you to hold her while she sleeps, she will get strong again. This collage is so wonderful! Its like looking at a parent's wallet picture of their child growing up. :-) This "extended family" of your are simply the "cat's meow!" LOL
