Description

This is one of my senior portrait models. As I'm prepping the images for printing I like to convert a few to B&W and sepia tones for them to see. I liked this one in particular and thought I'd share. Thanks for the view. Hope everyone is having a great week!

the lighting is very subtle and expressive: radiant on the hair, subtle & soft on her arms & legs, and very musical. (No surprise there, considering the photographer...) Her smile is radiant but it doesn't overpower the picture. And the stairs are lit as if they had a light of their own. It has a little formality, but it's still relaxed. And considering how you captured a glowing moment, there's a relaxation in it that makes one want to sit down with her and simply chat. You captured several sides of one human soul...Fine portraiture, Jodie. Lovely and loving. I hope Katie was happy with your vision.
