well I don't know Marlene, but I've loved her gallery, and I've seen her comments everywhere and always thought she was extremely loving to everyone she visits, so I'll say happy birthday too! I looked for the two 'friends', and all I could find was two little insects. (I hope they like photography. Maybe they're from Flickr...) I don't know how you got those petals to go that way, but it's a great job. And ol' peak-a-boo goes back to the Renaissance as a game of hide-and-seek (you probably knew this, but I'm really boring so you gotta read this anyway), where you peeked and the other person yelled BOO!—though not necessarily in that order. So you've connected a dear friend with a 500 year old game! A sunny burst-of-a-pic, a lot of fun, and I love what you did with the petals, etc. A wonderful card for a friend!
Woohoo, a beautiful job...an excellent bit of postwork with the sunflower to celebrate Marlene's birthday. Think of it, 30, and never been kissed! No, with kids, that doesn't seem to make sense.
