Wonderful weather, made for a trip, but do the fish bite in that weather? Does not matter. Fishing, even without getting fish, is a wonderful meditation. Gretly composed shot!

your vacation in June produced so many fine photographs, I'm ready to go there myself! You always have a way with water, you capture it like a silken surface; but it's also the gentle sweep of trees, and—here—the harmony of the boat-seats with the water—blue and blue (very nice). And there's a sheen on the metal bucket and cooker next to the boat, a nice eye-opening accent. A restful shot, intimate, yet sweeping. It reminds me of the Midwest, and it's beautiful.
