Description
Hello !
What you see here is not a fake. It is real. We were sitting in the patio and we heard a bump on the window. Outside was a little Chaffinch laying in the grass. I let it lay for a moment and my son pushed his finger to its breast and it stepped up on it and there it stayed for long time and ofcause I had to take some shots.
Thanks for having a look and for your kind comments to yesterdays post. A special thank to those who added my image to their favorites,
Today we have the most lovely weather for a little grill party and thats exactly what we had, my niece: http://excalibur.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1729545&member ... and family.

What timing! Like it was all planned so you could capture the event. Such a cute little bird, Helle.

Excellent capture and rescue too!
So sweet, and I am glad he survived. I also got such an experience when a little bird flew right in the window pane and lost conscience http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1475431 We also have wonderful weather, so I wish you a great family gathering. Sorry, I gave your link in the last comment. Now it is right

Outstanding! I love the feeling of trust and bonding going on. Super close up of the face on the bird and the overall body shots are well detailed.
Lovely pics!
Wow, it must have felt safe on his finger, amazing photo ;o)))))))))))
How nice and sweet ;O)
Helle, what a precious collage! It seems that this little fellow regained his senses and I hope he flew away and was allright. How kind of you to care for him for a few minutes. Great shots of a bird that I have never seen before.
I always love your "presentation" shots, like you had animals & insects pose for us. It shows how much you love nature, and want us to love it too...You gave us 4 views here, and a nice story too: Thanks for capturing the moment for us. Your son gets along well with animals—he obviously takes after his mother! The Chaffinch probably thought, "Oh, that's Helle's son: He'll be fine!" A beautiful collage.
Interesting composition of wonderful photo!!! :)
This is awesome Helle !!! wowwww

I really love this, they are such lovely little birds. I have been feeding some all winter but they don't let me near them. How wonderful to get these captures.
