Description
Hello.
Back in january we had a big flood what left a mark on many thing and a cycad was not spared. Sitting so long under water as we can see the leaves started to loose battle for life. Checked back a few weeks ago and I saw all the leaves gone now but a plant seems to me still alive so hope a spring will bring new leaves out.

Your lensbaby comes to the fore, Tunde! I never heard of cycad feathers before. Horse feathers, yes, but not cycad. Stellar focus and lighting in this fine capture, young lady! And good frame work.

Tunde, I see it as well.... this plant does look very much alive indeed, and in fact the "discolouration" brings it more beauty, as it still looks like it's fighting for life! What a beautiful capture, with most sensational lighting and detail. Such a clear and sharp photograph...... Each bristle so wonderfully separated and perfectly alligned with the others.... a most beautiful subject and composition!
