Sig, this has to be one of the best shots of Pu'u O'o Vent that I have ever seen. The colors and pov are fantastic. Aloha and have a great weekend.
Beautiful colors! Why'd you wait so long to share it, ha.
Excellent and very impressive shot!
Wow! Excellent !
Very nice.. how did you manage that POV?
@FunkyShaman.My problem is that my pictures are stored all over the place (sounds organized, huh)? and I have to find them, and scan them. I am in the process to scan all the old pictures I like and store them in the attic.I have been taking pictures for a long time, so there are a lot of them, Sig...
@dragonmuse. We flew from Honolulu to the Big Island, toured it, and returned by plane. This picture was taken on the return flight, just as the one of Diamond Hhead, posted a couple of days ago, Sig...
Sig, this is dramatic and a veiw that so very few see. Stunning.
What a great view! Beautiful.
Talking about view. We flew over another crater and we could look directly into the crater and the redhot lave. It crossed my mind that if we had lost power and for some reason went into the crater we would just be part of the lava flow. Not a pleasant thought!!
an excellent shot !!!
Ist ja ganz toll!!! Fantastic!! Would love to do a fly-over and a hike over the area. Thanks for sharing this alluring cature!!!!
Awe inspiring.
Excellent capture Junge. It is very nice of you to share all your picture's.Can't wait to see them all.
...wunderbare Aufnahme von diesem dampfenden Vulkan!
Sea and volcanoes ... we have something in common ... even if the Ionian Sea is not the Pacific Ocean and my Etna is not as big as your volcanoes! :)
Wonderful photo.
Excellent and very impressive shot. Looks fantastic and very interesting. Thanks for sharing!
Excellent POV ! It is still a very active volcano ! Impressive !
Excellent shot, fantastic details and beautiful light
When I watch TV and it is rare that I do, I always go to the discovery channels and have a flick through, I love the documentry type of TV. I am usually glued to it when they put something like this on Sig, which they do every now and again, not as often as I would like. Thats the only way I get to see other parts of the world. Now of course I have RR and the pictures of friends from around the globe. Thanks for sharing this(another fav) and of course all your others Sig, it really is a secondary education for me. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!
eine wunderschöne Aufnahme:)
The only volcanoes I have ever seen are extinct ones that later showed themselves to be active. Mt. Shasta and Mt. St. Helens. The Ring of Fire has central players, too as your image shows.
An amazing photo!
fantastic capture Sig, that looks ready to burst.
marvelous image sig!
