Description
A Convair F-102 'Delta Dagger' fighter interceptor taking off from DaNang AB, VietNam. Missiles and rockets are carried internally. The two tanks under the wings are external fuel tanks to extend combat range. This picture was taken in July 1967 as a slide, a print was made in 1969, and I scanned this print in 2004.

You must have had a top of the range camera back in 1967 Sig, the quality of your prints from that era is exceptionally good. My brother was a keen photographer in the sixties and early seventies. I know he has boxes and boxes of slides that he never made prints of, the main reason being the cost. They were viewed once or twice and then put away never to see the light again. I'm glad you decided to keep and share yours. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!

The F-102 has always been a favorite, I first saw them with the National gaurd in Washington when I was young.. Thanks for the Memories...
