Description
I much prefer the name Orca to their common name, "killer whales", which has such emotive overtones. What a privilege it would be to swim with these magical beasts...
My first attempt at an underwater scene. Best viewed full size.

Lovely work Craig - the shadowy light works very well.
The deep sea look is well achieved here, Craig. Your lighting works perfectly.

Lovely image! I like the murkiness here.
Very Nice work! A Caustic Gel on the light source would produce some very nice FX!!!

I live in British Columbia, Canada, the land of the Orca. You are richer for having seen one in the wild. They are magnificent!!! Wonderful image!!!
I too am a British Columbian and although I have only seen these at the Vancouver Aquarium,I would definitely wish for my first actual wild contact to be in a setting like yours pictured here...great job all around Craig!
