Description

An image that's been sitting around on my hard drive for a few weeks, waiting for errant passers-by. Hot, humid, bug infested, and not very hospitable... The River Valley from C3D. Vue6 Pro Studio, signature and resizing in PSP. Thanks for looking, comments are always welcome and appreciated. Craig UPDATE 05/25: A friend asked for some birds in the swamp, so I added a pair of egrets.

Looks like an interesting place to explore...provided I had all of the proper protective equipment and repellents. The lighting and ATMOS really bring the swamp to life.

Lovely muggy feel to this. I like how the shadows of the tree on the water adds to the atmosphere.

This is exactly what I was talking about - you have a great ability to capture the essence of truly wild places - I look at this pic and I can hear the mosquitos whine - lovely job
