Description
A simple tribute to one of my all time favourite television shows - Blake's 7.
The basic model was found on the Net, but it was not all together accurate. I remodelled some of the elements (the 'wing' struts and the nose cone) in Wings3D and added some surface details.
The image is my version of the scene in the second episode when the beautiful 'Liberator' is first glimpsed.
I feel the image is best appreciated in full size.

This evokes fond childhood memories. Rumour has it they are working on reviving the show soon!
Nicely done...like the light flare on the surface mats...well done!
real cool looking
Cool composition and POV
Wonderful version. Puts mine to shame. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
There seems to be a resurgence in interest in B7... why? Lovely image, almost like a screen grab... you can almost hear the theme reprise as it appears. Shame the effects let the model down (T_T) Wonderful 5++
It is a very good artwork.
Great work! Love the lighting on the hull.
Great image. Thanks for yours comments and visits!!! Hugs! JAML
Beautiful! Nice detail also.
Great object! Looks cool!
Nice tribute, I hear Paul Darrow (Avon) bought the rights to the show with the intention of reviving it. Fingers crossed!
Awesome point of view for the Liberator awesome show as well what an ending too Wow!!
P.S the glare was actually done in Bryce, by using semi-transparent mattes in front of the model. Low luminosity light sources were then placed in front of the mattes.
Most impressive glowing effects and angle on the vessel!!!
A very cool tribute, and i was going to say 'what's a starfleet badge doing in the corner' and then I remembered that they used the same symbol in Blakes 7 (the British Star Trek).
