Description

Here's another shot from Trent and David's house. I have the best brother-in-law! David learned how to weld, and did some really wonderful art pieces. (He did this one metal silhouette cityscape where the windows were all cut out and it was backlit. Gorgeous stuff.) You can click here if you want to see David's portrait. Anyway. David designed and built and welded this stair railing. He had help from a friend - it's a two-person job - but it was his project, start to finish, and I just love the way it turned out! He has no idea I'm advertising his work, and he'll probably be really embarassed, but this was a really ambitious project, and he did a great job! I hope I've done it justice. It's quite elegant in person. Natural light, btw - there's a huge window behind me.

The natural lighting is apparent in the fine wood glow seen. The railing is well angled in this shot and it looks very well made as well.

Wow, I'm very impressed, and I know how much work that is. I hope he did the welding somewhere else and carried it into place. I can just imagine the sparks flying. LOL

What a railing and what a beautiful capture of it. My gosh, is there anything those two can't do??? I wish I had just an iota of their talent. And I might add, it runs in the family.

LOL! I thought at first by the title you meant David was carrying on, shouting bitter and reproachful remarks. Great clarity, geometry and lighting in this capture of the magnificent project, Tara! Kudos to your brother-in-law, with this exquisite job of rail/railing construction. Now, due to his efforts, you can claim David did not fail to rail.
