Description
It was too far to get back to Manila so we stayed overnight on our excursion to Taal Volcano. Taal Lake is located about 50km south of Manila. There wasn't really much to do except watching the sunset.
This picture was taken in September 1967 and later scanned.

I guess there is very little to do after dark at this place as well Sig, the bit of the village we saw didn't seem to busy. Excellent capture, very atmospheric. Bravo!!!!!!

Quiet, peaceful, but being in the Philipines, Siegfried, I suppose the smells and noise of nature will be so different. This is just frozen in time, as if paused on the hard drive recorder of life. it is a beautiful sunset. a very close person to me from Lipa told me that they do not have beautiful sunrises and sets after seeing my captures. while I was there I climbed an old water tower on their property and took a sunrise picture. then told them look here. you told me it does not happen here. I said just because you were not looking!!!
