Description
This Western fence lizard took up residence in our Wren House this year. The returning House Wren has not been very happy about this.

The answer is yes... a Fence Lizard can eat eggs and nestlings...fortunately the wren happened set up the nest for this year yet

interesting shot. screech owls have been known to catch slow-worms (legless lizards) and keep them inside their nests, where they eat insects and help keep the nest clean, without bothering the chicks. however, this lizard does not look like he is here to help...
