Description
The coral honeysuckle, or trumpet honeysuckle, as it is sometimes called, blooms in clumps that hang downward, but I turned this group of blooms "upside down" to provide a different focus. Their bright red color make it a popular shrub to attract hummingbirds. Thank you very kindly for your views and comments.

SO lovely colors on these beautiful flowers. :))) Excellent dhot.
This coral honeysuckle was unknown to me so far! These flowers are so beautiful and hopefully smell as delicately as honeysuckle, as I know it. Excellent capture and presentation!
Beautiful. As a lad, I would pull the stamens from this flower to taste the nectar.
Excellent capture and pov, like to have one of those in my yard but I am high enough that I don't think they would do well here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful shot, Maria. I love the subtle shading differences.
A gorgeous flower and they really do bring in hummers. Prettier I think than the yellow/white honeysuckle anyway. The dof created is amazing.
