Description
... perspective, it's all in how you look at things ... there is beauty all around if we but have the eyes to see it ... like this tiny little weed less than inch across. Sadly, it succumbed to to lawn mower blade, but I captured it while playing with the macro lens I have hardly used in the last year. Thanks very kindly for your views and comments.

Well this is the prettiest weed I've ever seen. The perspective is perfect for giving us a unique view of all the details. The weeds in my yard aren't nearly as pretty.

What a stunning shot! Excellent clarity!
How beautiful a creation we call a weed! I love macro shots of plants, to view them how we would never normally see them. This one reminds me of a gold and silver Royal Princess crown - Superb macro shot Maria, and thank you for sharing, hugs Jane xx
This is so bautiful and has wonderful details ;O)
Superb details, colour and DOF.. So beautiful... my dear
Gorgeous weed and you have captured it so beautifully. My husband has promised not to mow our lawn for the entire spring season so that I can go exploring and see what pops up when spring finally happens here - what self sacrifice! (hee hee)
Stunning is the only word for it!!
so lovely shot you caught with the lens too to open a world of wonder
This unusual perspective is perfect, Maria. Thank you for showing us all something we would not otherwise have seen.
Oh so true, Maria, and beautifully expressed in words and captured in your photograph. A delicate beauty and an excellent shot.
Ah yes, Maria, you took advantage of an excellent POV to take a stellar macro of this pretty little flower. It takes a good eye and presence of mind for that. Love the soft effect!
