Description
This is part of a number of pictures I did illustrating the Grimm fairy tales. Thanks for all the comment on my previous stuff.
This picture is one of my own personal favourites, but it also reminds me that at all times we are potentially surrounded by ruthless and mean-spirited people... and in some ways the picture portrays that treachery in visual terms.

This is such a beautiful work. I find myself looking at it over and over again, and each time find it even more amazing than the time before.

Awesome
What a wonderful and stunning scene
I think it would have been better for the gene pool if the townsman had all gotten in the barn before setting it alight. Beautiful image! I love the dark setting and the bright candlelit faces. Excellent composition and atmosphere. I think the bug is in trouble. Great reflections in the candlestick holder. Very nicely done!
Words don't say enough... it's awsome work inside your gallery
Don't let the politics get in the way of your work - some of us just appreciate exceptional artwork like yours. Beautiful work on the barn owl and cat. A 5 for sure!
