Shadow just loves it when I buy a new scratcher and fresh catnip. He's finally had enough for now. You can see the catnip dust basically all over him.

That is definitely one contented kitty. When I first looked at the picture I thought I had lint on my monitor, then I read what you wrote about catnip dust and laughed at myself.

Believe it or not, I have one just like it, and after about 10 minutes with it, they look just like that! Great shot! Try putting some catnip in old socks, and then get them to play/roll around with it. Mine grab my hand with the sock and start rubbing it, and voila! 10-15 minutes later, I have a nice quiet, stoned cat!
Oh Shadow is beautiful! I hadta laff at Leeatsit L stoned kitties! Our two cats are 12 and 9 yrs old, yet they still play like a kitten. The bounce around the steps and the hallways as if they have wings lol. The oldest one answers to the name "dog" LOL. He got that name after my 16 yr old lab (his best buddy) passed away. He continues to lay at my feet and jumps up if someone is at the door.
That's one satisfied cat! Great capture
