Dedicated to Freedom!

This image is dedicated to freedom! Freedom because of great men like, Martin Luther King, Richard Perry Loving and time. Because of them, this image is not just a dream, but a reality. Richard Perry Loving, in June of 1958, broke the law! He married a black woman and he and his wife, Mildred Jeter were arrested and thrown into Jail. They could be free if he would do just one simple thing, divorce her. In his own words, I quote this incredible white male, who ignored what he was up against and said, "They want me to divorce her, I'm not gonna do it, no, I love'er." They were forced out of the state of Virginia. The movie of them is called, Mr. & Mrs Loving - Google "The Lovings" If you wish to learn about their TRUE story and struggle.

August 28th, 1963 - Martin Luther King gave the unforgettable, "I have a Dream" speech in which I quote the following portion of that speech...
"Let freedom ring. And when this happens, and when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro Spiritual: "Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!"
