Description
I drove home from San Francisco yesterday, thankfully missed most of the rain that hit Friday. Still saw lots of the aftermath. This is about 20 miles south of home, just took the camera and shot thru the window. You can tell how much I just wanted to get there; those last few miles are always like that!! Home Sweet Home!!!

My favourite POV, through the windscreen! have lots of shots like this. excellent photo
Love the sense of motion - it really highlights your sense of urgency to get home!
The feel of motion is awesome with this :) I think I'll have white knuckles if I was driving with you lol Great photo Marilyn :)
So it's you who uploaded this! i was thinking while flipping through gallery page... "what a neat looking picture. wonder who posted it." looks good. I like the motion blurry.
Excellent photo.

Great motion shot, but please be careful.
Ok, I have to confess to all of you. I picked up my camera while I was driving and just shot this thru the window!! And I probably WAS going way too fast, those last miles are the hardest and all I wanted to be was home!!
A classic capture of motion!!!! outsanding shot. I'm glad your OK. Here in the UK you can now go to Jail for using a phone whilst driving! for two years!
Shame on you! Driving and taking a photo...tse, tse... :- ) Anyway, great Shot!
Evocative shot!
great action. I know this view and it is gorgeous.
An on the road again shot..but can't read the sign...:)
Them California Highway patrol can be pretty touch lol....... slow down gal ,
A great POV and lots of swift dynamics in this fine capture, Marilyn. The title, Goin Home, reminds me of what the mourning crowds lining the RR tracks were singing while the train carrying the body of Franklin Delano Roosevelt was passing by on its way to Washington, DC.
going fast here , lol cool shot
It gives that feeling that you're way above the speed limit, lol. Excellent. Aloha
You can tell you were in a hurry. Great picture
Excellent!
Excellent picture. Todd
Great effect... amazing shot my friend!
Cool view!!
Awesome motion here. Great shot!
Thankfully the blurring is due to the auto focus sensing the windshield and a leisurely shutter speed, rather than out-of-control, blazing, public-endangering speed! Glad you're home safe.
