Description
"I heard what you said, but I still don't see any manakins".
A male and female White-collared Manakin do some window shopping.
Another little bit of bird humor and a sequel to my piece "Minors not Miners", I guess. There were quite a few challenges in this piece both compostionally and technically. I chose to use Victoria "1" for the mannequins and purposely left them untextured to give a more mannequin look. I reworked the glass windows to add enough reflectivity to disfuse the detail of what was in the store and across the street allowing you to focus first on the manakins.
The white-collared Manakin is found in the Yucatan areas of Central America.
Rendered in Poser 7 with no postwork. Model Credits: Songbird Remix (me/DAZ), Victoria 1/clothing & Street Lamps (DAZ), Baker Street (RDNA)& Period Corner Store (mapgraphs).
