Description
The smallest of the Kingfisher is only 13 cm long and weighs about 18g. It is found in the American tropics from southern Mexico south through Central America to western Ecuador, and then around the northern Andes to the entire Amazon Basin. Pygmy Kingfishers perch quietly on a low branches near the edge of stream banks, patiently waiting for a small fish or tadpole to come by.
Render notes: because of the different approaches to eye creation between Rachel and Emma, together they didn't look right. I knew both needed a single eyeball creator. Rachel's default eyes were amazing but drew away from the focus I wanted on the Kingfisher so I chose Emma's more subdued eyes and added some ray trace reflection.
Rendered in Poser 7 with minor post. Models used: Victoria 4 (DAZ), Songbird ReMix Yucatan (me/DAZ), Emma v4 (Maelwenn/DAZ) and Rachel (Tosca/RMP)
