Description
I'm back... it seems like I've been gone for a long time, but it's only been four days. I moved to a new house last weekend, so there just wasn't time for anything else. Of course, the computer network was one of the first things to be set up, even as we live out of boxes and wonder where we packed things. :-)
This photo is another from Waterton Lakes NP. The building near the center of the shot is the Prince of Wales Hotel in Waterton. It's a six-storey building, but it's completely dwarfed by the mountains behind it.
Thanks for stopping by and any comments. I'll get to the hundred or so ebots that await me as time permits.

Dennis...you got some of the most beautiful shots one can find. Very impressive. Aloha
An awesome vista! The spots of sun on the mountain are super and the river meandering through is a path for the eyes. Great shot.
These are beautiful mountains and the hotel really gives some perspective as to their size. Wow! You made me laugh that you have the computer set up, even if the boxes are still waiting to be unpacked. I'm glad you have your priorities straight.
Gorgeous view ... I am so jealous of the sites you see ... Keep up the good work ... and of course the computer gets set up first lol, that's a given :-)
Beautiful landscape !
Tremendously beautiful view! I saw the watertank, and I'm glad you stated what the building was. They seem so tiny among those HUGE mountains! So pretty! So natural .... I wanna be there L ......Congratulations on your new home -- glad to see your priorities are equal to mine L
What a fantastic shot. A dream of a landscape, and you've captured it perfectly. Superb!!
Well done photo..such a lovely scene presented perfectly.
A GRAND mountain scene! Have fun trying to find everything in your boxes!!! Always a headache to move. Glad you are online anyway.
Gorgeous scenery! I saw a series on PBS about these remote luxury hotels. If I'm not mistaken, this one sits in what is basically a wind tunnel. The people who put it up hadn't counted on the fierce winds that whip through there, and they had to do several redesigns during construction to make sure the building didn't collapse! I guess it's like being in a small earthquake when you're in that hotel and the wind is blowing. Only four days? It seems like longer. Nice to have you back! :)
Great Shot . Thanks for sharing .
Amazing view! An interesting sky with light enough to make the mountains pop, dapples of bright sunlight on the green, a marvelous stream and just enough sign of human habitation. Lovely! How you managed this trip and then almost immediately a move is beyond me. I hope you are settling in well :)
Absolutely marvelous!............Good Luck in ur New Home...Blessings!
Gorgeous scenery.
beautiful view...
