Description
Another photo from Friday's rock-circle. I just couldn't resist this picture of such a small stone holding up something so much larger.
As always, no tricks or glue, simply gravity and a bit of patience. This is part of what we're starting to think of as the "rockstack who could" because these typically only stay standing for a few hours or perhaps a few days. This one has been standing for almost 2 and a half weeks, now.
Thanks for looking and commenting. Maybe this time I won't lose power thanks to somebody driving while talking on a cellphone so they can go off the road and take out a utility pole.. (nobody got hurt, but power was out for about 5 hours)
Happy Sunday!

Excellent! Great textures and pov! Brilliant!
Great POV! The wrinkle-face alien-rock in the background doesn't look too happy about it all... lol See site-mail for a reason why... lmao
just amazing and quite unbelieveable.
The textures are fabulous; and no pun intended, but this picture rocks...okay, you can shoot me for that one.
Your rock structures never cease to amaze me! A great shot!!

Amazing. This must have been a lot of work to set up. Going back to the essence of art, reshaping the environment by the first humans. Excellent piece.

Amazing work .Simply amazing.
2 and a half weeks? That's a nice piece of balancing!
You must have a great patience and a great talent too! Amazing artwork :)
Along with your excellent photo and intro text, I must add that this photograph is also nice in that we truely see the rocks mass and textures and the way you have fit them into "pockets" in each other, and thus getting the long lasting stand times! Impressive natural assembly sculpting and image capture too!!!
Excellent shot with fantastic details. Superb DOF too!!
Oh boy, more of the mystical, magical rocks! Patience you have young Jedi, yes. The "Force" is with you it is! ;-) Excellent photo!
