Description
Another shot of that group of rocks I'd stacked yesterday. I kept running out and shooting more as the sun slowly dropped. I am quite pleased with several of the more unique angles I tried. These rocks aren't very big at all, and are simply balanced atop eachother without the help of anything besides gravity. They usually only stay standing for a few hours or perhaps a day or two at most. The most fun is when a bird attempts to land on one of these stacks...

What an image, it's quite moody actually, it evokes all sorts of stories but then a good picture is definitely worth MORE than 1000 words and well...this is a fantastic picture. The contrast between light and shadow is great and the muted color works equally well.
