For all you Firefly/Serenity fans out there, my take on River Tam looking at the Fruity-Oaty Bar add and seeing the subliminal message. Just before she takes out the whole bar! Just for fun.

Lovely outfit. Great pose. I have only a few suggestions. her hair dont look right on the top. And i would paint some darker shadows on her feet. :) But at all a wonderful work.
Im not familiar with your inspiration for this but thought I might comment anyway. Which might be very far off since I just don't get it. Take the critique with a grain of salt. I do like her stance but her pose is strange to me - mainly the hands I think. Sort of like she just dropped her luggage - but where are the bags. I think bending the wrists back out a tad would solve that. Her expression is unique and I do like that. The hair itself looks good but maybe was posed a little off - her part has some scalp bleed through with it.
I had to ask the sci-fi fans in my family, what this is about. It is very hard to get from this image any feeling of the explosive nature of what's to come. Her expression and subtle pose are great but the rest of her body is a bit lifeless. The setting and light are very good. Finding a better pose would turn this into a striking image.
