reminds me of the song about a bole weevil back in the 60's or older. outstanding macro
I dont know anything about photography, but this is surely a great capture! The details on that little critter are amazing.
Well you've shown me something new ... again. I used to grow a few cotton plants in my yard because they were so pretty when they flowered and after that, they were a great educational tool to use on my kids. I never had weevils but I always wondered what they looked like. Look at the snout on that guy! Great shot, Lee and thanks for another wonderful lesson in insects.
Splendid shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Never seen a weevil up close before. Excellent macro. Also thankyou for explaining about the hairs on the spiders legs:)
Great capture...
I've never even heard of these little guys let alone seen one!! This is an amazing macro, it almost looks like a tiny armadillo. Great capture as always from you my dear Lee. Hugs. xx
Excellent closeup Lee - the details are great! I think I have one of these little buggers in my gallery; only I called mine a 'Sweater Bug' lol I am notorious for giving my bugs inappropriate names. lol Good shot Lee!
Excellent macro!
Nice closeup! Well done. A little off focus, though. Hand held, low light?
Incredible macro. A little soft, but excellent details. Bunny
Is this one of those that cause such havoc in the cotton fields? We don't have either up here. Amazing detail. BJ
