Description
Comparison of adult male cardinal and juvenile male cardinal, taken today in my yard.
Haven't been around much lately, but now that I finally got that external DVD burner, I
have some room on my hard drive again. Thanks very much for stopping to have a look.

very well done! two fine shots!
A lovely pair of captures.
Excellent detail and composition, Maria. The adult is so pretty, while the juvenile is a scruffy lookin' dude. I guess it's the same all over LOL. Nice to see you back posting again. I've missed your work.
Superb captures!
two wonderful captures. Very nice!
Lovely shots, so cute even though the youngster is looking a bit worse for wear lol. A beautiful bird your very lucky if you have these type of birds in your garden.
Wonderful captures Maria!
Lovely captures and comparisons! But they look sort of orangey/peachy looking in this image. Or is that they are lighter looking in your area? Then again it could be my screen. Needless to say a rather lovely image!
Excellent shots!

they both look so expertly shot !! beautiful and sharp ... awesome captures!!!
Beautiful shots! Nice colorful sharp images!
Beautiful work Maria! I really like the idea of juxtaposing the pair ... Makes for an even more interesting photograph. I find it fascinating from your capture, to notice such various differences between the two-- Very sharp, crisp and clear images. The perspectives you've chosen for your photograph work beautifully for the images, especially with such soft lighting on either. Lovely work, yet again!
Two fine captures of the pretty cardinals, looking alert and colorful.
Super shots of a very beautiful bird. Amazing the difference in the young one. Glad to see you posting again.
