Description
Crayfish Etouffee, Potato Salad, home made Freach Bread, Green Beans. That is what I eat last night at Cafe Des Amis in Breaux Bridge. Fist time I eat there and it was good too. Plus it was the only cafe open down town to 9:30 p.m. I got there around 6 P.M. and was surpise they rolled up the sidewalks. So I saw this place and when in and ate. The food is not pepper hot but if you like there the hot sauce on the table. I put about 10 shakes on it. You can tell where some one came from in Louisiana by just watching how many shakes they do with the hot sauce on they food. South cental louisiana is about 10 nothth Louisiana is one or two. Baton Rouge is about three. west Louisian is about three too. so you may get that mix up.
I like to shoot with the natural lighting. That is why this is a little dark.
thanks for the comments and all

fantastic light and pic love the top man
Very appealing offering, Jocko! I can smell the aroma from here. Somebody had a nice, hot, filling meal, all the way down to the last ort. Cool shot!
Nice shot! - A bit dark though. And to be honest - I prefer the top shot! The 2nd one leaves an empty feeling! Good one!
Super shots!*****!
Now you see it....now you don't! Sure looked good! 8-)
It looks delicious..great capture before and after! :)
My tummy is rumbling and wanting some of this delicious food lol! it looks soo tempting Jock. I am off to the stores for some ingredients having seen this and see what I can rustle up. Excellent capture!
Smashing dinner for one, I wish I could be there to help you chow down ! might pass on the hot sauce, your local cuisine looks great and very tasty. One day I will travel and then you will have to take me there for some original N.O. food ! ~Cheers~
All...gone...? (Sob!)
Looks yummy! Great before & after! Bravo!
LOL a funny and tasty looking food scenery! Love the light here!!!
Dear Jock, It really looks good!!! I'm afraid I'm a "no shake" gal from Texas!! I'm sure it would be hot enough for me just as it came from the kitchen!!! It really makes me hungry for some gumbo or shrimp creole!! When I get back I'll have to have some!!! I had pizza last night!!! I'm glad they were open and that you enjoyed your dinned!!!! Love ya!!! Meredith
I can see it in your face now that it has disappeared from the plate. I had my first file' powder in St. Augustine, Florida on my gumbo. Now the EPA or NIH has outlawed the real stuff and even root beer cannot keep it's roots.
Amazing pictures before and after ! And your weight ? Before and after ? If the difference is null...you have eat normally !
Lol, great idea this "before and after" !!!! That seems very good !!!! Nothing for us ???? Grrrrrrrrr ! Now I'm going to eat something.... hugs !
Ha Ha, I didn't know you could eat or cook without hot sauce! Now I'm hungry. Gotta so see what's in the cupboards to snack on! The images make me hungry!
