several years ago one was walking around in Highland park not bothering anyone.some old lady called the animal control complaining and he had to come and scare it until it left. I had no camera with me at the time and I still kick myself for not being prepared.awesome closeup

Bravo! Funny that you post this today. Was out for 2 hrs. today and the first animals I saw were two Sandhill cranes. Got pretty close - but not anywhere as close as that! Superb detail!
