Description
Hi all,
another of my old family pics i tried to save. the original looks as if it survived a war, (well, it did...), and there was lots of guessing work, specialy parts of the face and much of the background. So I invented some kind of new background, with the best parts of the original surviving. As for the missing eye, i had to try and imagine, i'm still not so happy with the eyebrow. Ah well..
Have a GREAT week
Dirk

Very nice restoration!!!
You are doing a beautiful job restoring the photograph. Excellent work
Great work, specially her right eye. I tried to do something similar some time ago and I had great difficulties restoring areas where cloning was absolutely impossible, like in this case. Here you just have to paint and it always looks funny. But in your case it's very well done.
Excellent work! Bravo!!!
knap restauratie werk Dirk je bedoeld denk ik de linker wenkbrauw maar er is niks zo moeilijk als expressie maken in een gezicht vind het een erg goed resultaat
It looks pretty darned good Dirk. As for that eyebrow, did you try selecting the other one, copying it to a separate work place then mirroring it? It's just a tad thin is all. Excellent work! She's lovely! (:
excellent restoritive work here!! enjoyed seeing what you did love this old shot!!...( i might have draped a slight more bit of hair over her left forhead temple area but other than that very impressive!! )
Very smart restoration, my compliments!!
A lovely restoration! Excellent work. Very nice and something to be proud of. Bunny
Good restoration. You have got to love the digital age.
You've done a wonderful job restoring this, even with guesswork!
Great job on restoring this photo. The finishd image looks wonderful.
You did super on what you have.
Excellent work! Superb postwork! The only thing I'm not sure about is the red tint. It appears that the coat was red - and the red tint seems to steal a tad of detail. Other than that - I lift my hat!
Great job on the photo restoration! I too have some old photo's of my moms I need to fix..some are so old they are stuck to the glass inside the frame...
Excellent restoration - and thanks for the 'before and after' shots. Mike
