which we see

understand

I am with you on wanting to "sleep life away" Dirk...for me I have this strange wish to fall asleep, dream of my wife and the way we were, and die so I could stay there. It never happens. Guess we have to find another avenue my friend...I started doing art again. Maybe you can find something to use as a distraction. Hang in there man. -Rob
This is, I think, a danger in introspection. Some time ago I wrote this short poem: INTROSPECTION Introspections curse: a carnival hall of mirrors with no exit sign. Now, when life oppresses me, I force myself to look out - anywhere but inside among my moody blues masquerading as philosophy. Your poem expresses this feeling with power and finesse.
