Description
The remains of a medieval building situated near Nuns Cross Farm on Dartmoor. I was fascinated by the tree
which can be quite rare on this exposed part of the moor. A birds nest is just visible in the top branches.
The sky color was quite bleached so I thought I would give it a whirl in b/w.

What a cool scene and capture! Well done :)
Missing these gems of yours ! Superb !
Great one! Superb - and yeah - the tree is really interesting!
There is a lot of true unknown in this picture. What was the economic impetus that built the building? What did the dweller or jobber do here? The questions are not rhetorical in the ancestor space.
Thanks for all your comments. In reply to Tallpindo's question it is most likely that the building was used by a tinner who would have worked in this area. You can still make out numerous spoil heaps and there is also a stream nearby.
Excellent shot! Love your pov and compo in this one! I really does suit the B&W doesn't it... Excellent capture my friend. Hope you are keeping well there. Thanks for sharing.
