I feel the greatest of your paintings are elevated by what is implied and not outrightly said. Although we are overtly drawn to the central figure, we are left wondering mostly about the illusive figure in the background. Is it from her rejection of the figure that the title is drawn, or is it a indication rather of plight? Great work!
