The weekend is finally here and I was up and gone before sunrise cause the winter surf is here and pounding. The day was really overcast and quite bad for shooting, but hey, I ain't complaining, it beats the hell out of working!
Here is a view the boogie boarder in the foreground gets to see as he negotiates the swells that are constantly rolling in. As you can see he is a dot in the water compared to the size of the incoming wave. Along with the big waves comes the treacherous current and rip tide. Trying to stay out of the impact area was quite a feat on this day.
I will post more of this day tonight...Thanks for having a peek and hope you all are enjoying the weekend as much as I am....

Again, what an amazing sequence of surf shots. The selective coloring is just gorgeous. I am honest when I say you should try to make a gallery show out of them. I realize surf shots might be pretty common in your parts, but the quality of yours sets them apart. Aloha Dave!
