It's lovely a picture from old times.
I don't think we ever had these switches (maybe I'm too young, maybe its an South African thing)... Anyway, nive shot and thanks for taking a trip down memory lane! Have a great one, my friend! 8;o)
I think that this electrical installation is not with the goods norms!
These switches were just before my time and memory. I have seen them before but even as a very small child, my grandmother's house had been refitted with the swtich we are now familiar with. Nice piece of history you've captured and you did it very well.
I remember them quite vividly in both of my grandparents homes. And when the wall came down in germany - you could see these in eastern germanies homes all over the place. The nice thing is - that these little details make so cool photo subjects. Thanks for sharing!
