Description
"There is not a sprig of grass that shoots uninteresting to me." ~ Thomas Jefferson
The tiny flowers of this weed captured my attention while I was working in the garden, so I had to cut off a stalk and placed it on a peice of paper on the kitchen table to see what I could capture. Being so small, it was hard to get more than a few buds in focus at a time while shooting in supermacro mode. sprig

Fabulous macro photography with this partial unsharpness! What a wonderful camera settting you have selected here! Bravo!!!
Just beautiful.
Love to read Jeffersons writing, in my mind, one of the most interesting of our founding fathers. Excellent composition!! Sweeping across the screen!!
You'd make a great teacher for school. You make things interesting. Excellent work. Aloha
Hey Teach, in OZ there is a slang term...'Sprog', it refers to a young man, so I guess we ripped off 'Sprig'...convict mentality ? anyhoo another fine macro and info Kort. ~Cheers~ :o)
That's what I love about cameras. You see lots of things you would otherwise miss.
Thomas Jefferson....some historical figure i reckon. Speaking of historical figures...did you see the latest episode of American Dad when Stan put on his Lincon-show? LMAO!!! I LOOOVE THAT SHOW!!!!!! Oh..and about your shot. Stunning macro with great DOF. Have a great day! #:o)

Simplicity = true beauty. Such a delightful photograph. Just love the composition!
I get that same shallow dof with my macro. It makes drops really hard for me to get. Some part is always 'soft'...Anyway,it works really well here.It focuses my attention on select details and I like that.Stay well,Kortalouche.-M :^) PS Seems like you and T.Jefferson had something in common.
Everything I have to say about this magnificent macro has already been said above.
