Description
Thank you for your visits and comments on the sad topic Death by our celebrations.
Something "lighter" this time which I have been eager to do after seeing babuci's H.A.L.O. I did not manage to get a halo, but here is my attempt at the experiment. I hope you enjoy the variation on the humble dandelion.

Great picture, very hard to capture these. Love the sun shining in a kind of halo on the left one.
Hello Piet. Looks like you are having fun with your Canon. I really like the one on the left. How wonderful to capture the sun through the dandilion. Such a delicate capture. Thank You...bonita
how pretty is that collage..S
always interesting to play with these dandelions and a camera :) the first (even tho you didnt manage the halo) is my fav, just pure simplicity. I may have to try this someday too...
Beautiful work.... I love the way you designed the thumbnail . John
Well done Piet and good to see that others work can inspire us to try new things
I instantly nocied what you were trying to do here :P hehehe and that's a good thing I guess! :D Masterful work! Thanks for sharing! :) hope you have a wonderful week! :)
super details!
I love shots like this! Reminds me almost of a supernova. Dandelions are great subject matter because of their delicate and amorphous structure.
Beautiful, fragile captures that I adore. Sublime work, Oom Piet.
Where is Tunde? Hmm...oh..sorry. That is beautiful Piet. I particulary like that left one, one i would love to see full size on its own. Have a wonderful evening! #:o)

Virtually the antithesis of your previous image! Instead of murky refuse, we have shining seeds, the future rests a moment...Brilliant!!

love that backlighting here. cool looking
Wow wow wow! Excellent work - the light through the one on the right is simply awesome!!!!
Ag it's pretty! When we were kids, we used to blow the seeds from the stem and then my Gran would get very upset with us! She used to say that if the seeds blow into your eyes, you will turn blind. Old wive's tale if you ask me! Nevertheless, she meant well in her ways! Thanx for the reminder of a pretty great childhood Oom Piet!
Fantastic!!! Wonderful effect of the light!!! Hugsss. Delia
