Description
Another experiment using pdb files from the Protein data bank. The result is a ribbon render of the protein bacteriochlorophyll. To use a pdb file it has to be converted to an obj first, I use VMD 1.8.4 which is a viewer and converter and much more!!

Like your choice of MATs - gives this one a nice, light and airy feel. Put a silly little grin on my mug - thanks!
Hey Steve..You been at those bananas again!..a person could slip up on peel of that size Lol!!. Seriously..Excellent image..more than unusual and I love that flying machine. Brilliant stuff. Well done!

Why oh why, do I get the urge now to hum 'Weird Science'? That's brilliant! And who's to say that acteriochlorophyll don't see themselves as pin-ups... heaps of work there, evidently, for this one, but it's paid off good-style.

Makes me want to sing "follow the yellow brick road".......you know, Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz? LOL! This is truely amazing Steve and takes me to the 70's in a way. Kind of like looking at old Beatles stuff and Lennon doodles. You are one creative dude, and I love to look at what you are always putting together. Suze

your imagination always produces excellent art and of course your talent
as the people flying to their city they look out the windows and see the lovely but dealy air snake that cn leap in the air very high but the air ship is still out of range for the air snake and all aboard is happy about that.... this is cool looking [sorry for the story i just came up with that] but I do like the image

ain't nature grand ? so bizzare and totally alien looking, it's hard to believe it's from Earth ! neat techniques Cheers
Science meets art, art imitates life, art dates life but leaves life for science, science ignores art and marries life, and after a bitter divorce starts dating art again... Excellent image!! I love when science and art come together!!!
Very cool!
A fanciful way to get your daily protien requirements! :) Luv it!
Excellent work. I like the idea of using real objects to create virtual scenes. Thanks for the explaination in the comment box.
