Not much time to post, but we just got hammered
by the biggest Winter blizzard since......1992?
I stayed home, and took some shots.
I have been waiting for conditions that produce
the coveted snow-coated branches...today we got plenty!!!
Hope everyone survived Monday well!

Gotdang, the thumb don't move! "Dr. Zhivago" playing at the drive-in, is it? Beautiful pic. Have only seen one or two of the even rarer "ice" storms. Gotta raise them thighs high with snowshoes on....mush, mush!
Glorious scene --beeauteeful snow on the trees --hope you didnt have to commute today..just enjoy taking pictures...great POV and composition..it makes a fine nature pattern !

Sorry to hear you're getting snowed under (although it makes for good pictures). Where I live we've had the warmest winter since..well as far back as I can remember.

Gorgeous capture Eric! A picture that could symbolize our winter as well....i cant remember a winter where we had nearly as much snow or blizzards as this one. Soooo sick of it now....but with the temperature at 1F i suppose i still have to wait a while for spring...sigh. Have a great day. #:O)

Yep snow. Been there done that. I was caught in the Blizzard of 96' at my sister's house for three days. Whew, what a time that was. Fantastic looking imagery.
As much as I hate snow one can get some very nice shots with it. This is a great shot. Love the contrast. V

Nice idea to do a series--wish more here at 'Osity would do that. One has to view it in reverse--like reading Japanese Manga comics. That's why the 2 series I"m doing(P.Penny and Evil Grin) are numbered randomly
