Description
A spent flower of the Common Teasel (Dipsacus fullonum) that refuses to give up. I'm not really happy with the focus. The center is soft and the edges too sharp. I tried sharpening a little, but it just made the whole thing really harsh. Oh well, nobody said macro was easy. :-)
Thanks for looking and any comments.

Beautifully done. I actually like the focus. And the colors, too.
A great macro. Love the green.
Amazingly sharp and tones are simply perfect!!
Ah, love those Dipsacus-flowers with their regular shapes! Macro decreases your DOF and by using a smaller aperture you can enhance that deepening your DOF. But that means there's not so much light and you might need a tripod, depending on the camera you use. Love to see the fresh green appearing there, makes me feel a bit closer to spring! :)
The teasel is one of my favorite flowers for strength of form - an excellent photo , Dennis !
It looks ok to me, but what do I know? :~))
I've never seen teazel at just this stage! Fascinating. :)
