Description
First and for most I must thank the late great Don Tatro,
For his unique humor, and his eternal generosity.
He gave us all so many wonderful models to play with,
including of course, Creepy the Clown.
I used Creepy, but modified his colors. School hall by me.
I did a piece some time back, about lucid dreams.'
In that piece I mentioned "Night frights" I suffered as a teenager.
This is one of the less graphic, but most disturbing of them.
This was an exercise in anger management.... ; )

I came pretty close to what I still see when I close my eyes....but here is a better version I can't post here:

Reminds me of that Steven King novel about the clown...however until now I had no fear of them at all.

A great tribute to Don Tatro, whose still biting comedy is available here under "dontatro". One of my favorites was, and still is, "Makeshift", a silent and lasting smile and true. The real nightmare, which you capture brilliantly, is that, if you subtract Jack Nicholson, contemporary school corridors are an even greater horror. Personalize your LOCKERS, kiddies, and when you GROW up, you can each PERSONALIZE A CUBICLE....
Scary clown, Scary clown, Scary clown !!!!!!! I was just discussing this with my daughter today at the doctors office , where we had to sit for 40 minutes and look at three ungodly scary clowns on the wall !! LOL ,, What is it about them thats so scary ? Must be the John Wayne Gacy thing ...LOL ... Great animation and excellent deatils on the scary clown !!~******~!!
Whoa! Shades of Steven King's "IT". Though I know that a mere movie or even book can hold no candle to night terrors, having suffered them as well. Beautiful animation, Eric. You've gotten a lot in here under the wire and it flows so smoothly. Spooky indeed, my friend. Great job!

Yes Jeff, believe it or not, 12 million polygons! Mostly the background, I actually modelled the locker/class room door/hallway. Repeated the lockers many many times = Arrrggh!! I know I could have done it with more smoke and mirrors....Sigh.....you live, you learn, you die and take it all with you! ; )

Could sit and watch this all day. Clowns: always scary. Yet I have never had nightmares about them.....until now
I like that tilt you put on the camera, really adds to the mood. The lighting seems to match up pretty well as well. Now if you could get Creepy's legs to stalk through the halls you'd be batting 1000. Creepy and hypnotic, nicely done.
